Fine Footwear Presents Dansko Footwear. When you think of closed-back
clogs, you probably think of Dansko. Dansko Clogs feature
a fully closed heel for superior support and protection. In 2007, Dansko
Shoes won the Footwear Plus Award in Women’s Comfort
for the 3rd time in their 17-year corporate history.
This relatively new company was
started by a couple that fell in love with the closed-back clogs they
found in Denmark. Through that love, they started Dansko,
which translates as “Danish Shoe.” Dansko Shoes
biggest seller are still the Dansko Clogs with
the closed-backs. Some of Danskos other more popular shoes include
the Dansko Professional, the Dansko Marcelle,
and the Dansko Risa. Dansko now sells a wide variety
of shoes with strappy sandals, mary jane shoes, ladies dress shoes,
and even high heel pumps.
